The Iron Horse Cigar Depot is committed to keeping our prices as reasonable as possible, so our valued customers can enjoy smoking a premium cigar...but we need your help to do it!

There are three things you can do to help us maintain our reasonable pricing:

Iron Horse Cigar Depot - premium cigars1. For as little as $25.00, join as a supporting member to our NYTA organization and help us in our fight against excessive regulation and legislation of tobacco in New York. Your contribution is tax free and we’ll send you a NYTA support decal to show your support. Your donation helps our organization to fight for our rights to smoke premium cigar and pipe tobaccos.

2. Our state legislature is divided into two separate bodies: the New York State Senate and the New York State Assembly. I ask that you write or call your local Senator and Assembly person and let them know how you feel about the continued pressure and increase on our rights as premium cigar smokers. Better yet, call and ask for a meeting so you can personally sit down and meet with them to discuss your concerns about your right to smoke premium cigars.

3. At the Federal level, the state of New York has two senators in the United States Senate and 27 representatives in the United States House of Representatives.

What issues are facing the premium cigar industry?

In 2009, “The Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act” was signed into law, with the intent of curbing youth access to tobacco products and preventing addiction to tobacco. Premium cigars fit neither area yet are facing undue regulation from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Legislation in the House (H.R. 564) and Senate (S. 294) will define and exempt premium cigars, helping to preserve tens of thousands of domestic jobs and hundreds of thousands international jobs. Our members must have the freedom to sell a legal product without government interference. At the state and local levels, retailer tobacconists continue to face tax increases and smoking bans. Call, write or visit your representative in Washington D.C. and help us define premium cigars and protect your Cigar Smoking Rights.

Thank-you for your support!
